Heather Broeder is an engineer turned people leader, passionate about culture and team performance. Upon graduating from Baylor University with a mechanical engineering degree she began a 20+ year career with Mustang Engineering (which became Wood Group, now Wood). Heather spent 7 years working as a mechanical, field, and project engineer on North Slope and West Africa projects.
Heather and her husband Paul are active at Houston’s First Baptist Church as high school small group leaders, and are both passionate about Young Life. Heather also serves on the Baylor Advisory Committee for the Mechanical Engineering Department. When she isn’t working, reading a good book, staying up late with teenage kids, walking her dog, watching dance shows, or making a great cookie cake, she enjoys visiting national and state parks.
